When we focus on God he will open the doorway for our success naturally. Simply put, what we give the most energy to is what we can expect to experience. So seek God's Kingdom first and watch him work the goals and success for you. The book of Proverbs is a perfect example of how to achieve these goals and success.

The book of Proverbs is a special kind of literature with a focus upon providing wisdom (i.e., skill in living) in the details of everyday life. Because of its purpose to provide insight into this present life, it contains virtually to predictive prophecy. A proverb is a literary style that is brief, concrete, and provides a general truth that may have diverse applications. A proverb is not a law, a promise, or a prophecy; it is words of wisdom. Specifically, a proverb is a body of wisdom drawn from meditation upon the Law the LORD gave to Israel. Law often provides sanctions against those found disobeying it. Wisdom, on the other hand, since it merely states what a wise person should do and where such behavior will in and of itself naturally lead (i.e., the end of a matter), is sanctionless.
